Probably 98% of Americans have no clue. He asked a dumb question so he got a dumb answer. Bush isn't a professor of BS, he's a straight talker, just because he didn't give a long winded sophisticated answer doesn't make him stupid. I think he doesn't get enough credit for how well he handles on his feet type answers, did anyone catch his interview with Larry King, I thought Bush was very impressive. He sounds confident when he makes a statement, which makes you feel good that he has control over the situation, with John Kerry it all sounds like a bunch of double talk rhetoric.
I wish Bush would just say, please clarify the question or say I'm not sure I understand his question and approach those loaded questions from that angle, get these people to back peddle and maybe assholes like that editorial page editor will treat him with a little more intelectual respect. I can make Bill Clinton look like a fool if I ask him the right (or wrong questions), it all depends on how the interview or question is possed, since the media is >90% liberal Bush is made to look like a fool, while Democrats look inteligent simply by the way the media and press cover politics. It's a factor most people don't consider in the scheme of this, "Bush is dumb, or just a terrible public speaker". No one is a bad public speaker if they can stand up with the whole world focused on you and speak about the most important issues facing humanity. I know I'd have a hard time doing it. Bush appears very confident, compared to the way he acted when he entered office.
When a students ask dumb questions during a lecture, the professor sometime stumbles, simply because he/she doesn't understand where the student is coming from, it certainly doesn't mean the professor doesn't understand the subject matter, it's just hard to give people what they want.
The assclown even had to keep glancing down at his OWN QUESTION to remember wtf he was talking about. The guy is asking what tribal sovereignty means today...sovereignty is when something is free from external control. In this case, control from the government. I suppose he was trying to ask how much autonomy tribes can have in today's world. The way he asked the question was pretty gay IMO...I hate when people say "what does so and so mean today?" He was more concerned with making himself sound intelligent than he was with asking a good question and getting a solid answer.
ask clinton the same question....Clinton could dance around ANY question, give you basically nothing for an answer, yet look like he was a know it all. That is why all the weak minded people and minorities love clinton so much... he was probably the best bullshitter ever to be in office
hows graduating from yale (better GPA then clinton) make you anything but smart?
But overall....I got a good laugh...from these clowns.
Im still voting for this "clown."
So call me Krusty....
