Admittedly I've only heard the G&D mix (or josh gabriel was it... can't remember), and it just sounds awkward. Very solemn, dark & practically emotionless. One of those tracks I just felt uncomfortable listening to, had to turn it off halfway through. Other versions of it are probably better but have heard several versions of Beautiful Things and really like them all, so doubt they would top that in my book
