I usually shout a very loud "HEY!" a him, along with a tap.. that goes for everything I dont want him to do.. Or better yet let him chew on your wires once and get a shock, he'll understand
I used to spray him with water too but forget it with time iot doesnt do shit with time he just doesnt care so I dont really recommand it..
Funny how you can love your pet and yet it pissed you off to the highest point sometimes

3 words: Indoor cat repellent
it works! spray a little bit of that on your wires and voila, a couple of attempts and the cats will give up. don't use too much though...smell is not really pleasant for humans either. our kitten hasnt touched a wire in months.

I just yell at mine like crazy for a second, and make a couple snarly cat noises, and they get the picture.
If you're consistent with it, they'll get the idea for good, unless they're stubborn or dumb.

I've never seen any of my two cats chew any cables.. I don't think cats do that too much.. They really don't have the right kind of teeth to chew any cables like e.g. rabbits..

i dunno if its the same w/ cats but.. whenever my dog starts barking nonstop or he gets mischievous, we spray him w/ the spray bottle. its like a mix of vinegar & water. prolly 1:2 or something like that. it works well; at least w/ my baby.
lol that poor dog. What is the purpose of the vinegar other than potentially blinding him with low concentrated acid. Okay that's exaggerated, but still just water will have the same effect
Miki first I see you dressing your dog up like a child, and now you spray it with acid. Get the fecking animal protection onto you!
