there was a date for all loan applications to be in, them ones that made that date should be fine, its the back log of applications AFTER this date which will be most affected.

It's not definate that you WONT get your loan, but they're saying that due to the software failure then the late ones (which normally get their loan through) might not get it.

Going to a uni in manchester but since I am from America they won't let me get a loan in the UK since no citizenship or a loan from the US since it is a school outside of the country.

Ah mine was sent thru registered post and got through on the day b4 deadline so it should be OK, I've had a letter anyway saying what I'm gonna be getting etc etc

I got about $6,000 in financial aid (dont have to pay back), and i have a Staford loan for $3,600

£3750 this year. Got £1237.50 on Friday. No tuition fees this year as I'm spending it in France (ERASMUS scheme). Cheap beer, beach and French girls.

I start spanish on 16th september

I forgot what it was like to learn, will it hurt ?

Can't wait till I get mine!

ill be getting 4k and ill have saved up 1k by the end of summer.

i think ill spend mine on having food on the table and a roof over me head.
