Well, I got my MKIIs today. I brought only one in from the car into my apartment.. plugged it in, turned it on and watched it complete a half revolution and I got a bit worried haha. I took it apart and cleaned the hell out of it (seemed like it had never been cleaned before) and voila.. they both work great.

I took off my Start/Stop button to clean it up a bit but now it won't go back in. Do I need to apply a hint of glue to the spring to keep it in place?

How the hell does the button sit tightly..

1200s.com helped me. I'm missing a locking washer. Anyone happen to have a picture of this item so I can locate it on the ground?

lift the platter off and check if the over beneath has been removed - if it has ask them what they did under there - if it was messing with the pitch control speed make them return it back to zero so you dont have an overly sensitive pitch - that is unless you want +16% pitch control

also while you are under there check out teh motor and see how nasty t is - it should be nice and clean - thsu ensuring reliable rotation

thats all i can think of

Yeah. I'm having some difficulty removing the platter. It doesn't want to budge. I'll repost on the situation when I go back home.

its supposed to be quite tight.

put your fingers in the holes and lift directly upward - dont want to damage the spindle at all
