Huge difference between 15 and 17 jay. I mean, I'd probably hit up a 17 year old if it was 'safe'. But 15? Make damn sure man

Well I hate to break it to you but it's 5 years, not 7 years. Thus the golden age when you're 21 is 16, so you're S.O.L. if she's 15.

I have to admit though, I'll never understand why it's glamorous for a girl to go out with an older guy but disgusting for a guy to go with a younger girl - aren't we talking about the same couple here, just from two different angles?

Difference between 15 and 17 is 2 years... you get the girl 2 years before she turns 17, while she's still young and fresh. Mmmmm...

Now, if she could pass for a 25 year old, why do you think anyone else would notice a difference? Just tell her not to mention her age to anyone... or even better, tell everyone that she's 15 and watch their reactions. My guess is nobody will believe you anyway.

And if you don't mind, what's the problem then? Is she mentally mature enough for you? Go for it...

Hell, my sister hooked up with her boyfriend when she was turning 15 and he was 22... and nobody made it a big issue. So chill, relax, and enjoy life... responsibly

remember back to when you were 15...and look at yourself now.

keep in mind, the same thing will happen to her...she's going to be a very different person in a few years.

So if you are you really looking for a long term thing here...I'd say hold off for a couple of years at least.

starsearcher, I like your rule...so, 22...yeah, I'd hit it

The problem with this situation is that its in the infancy stages of a relationship. Having just met her recently, you are still in the process of figuring out what this person is all about. Hence, you do not have an all encompassing understanding of her personality, and you are not sure whether what you see in front of you is just a facade. A smoke screen specially created for you, that reverberates only her most appeasing chracteristics. Being only 15, she is still in the process of active construction of her personality. Who this person is now, will most likely change quite drastically in comparison to who they will become in the future. Just try to think back to a time when you were 15, I know that 12 years ago when I was 15,I was a very different person than who I am today. Ultimately, life experiences shape who we are at all points of our life, but the teenage period is one of those crucial segments of our life which happens to be quite turbulent and unstable, making us prone to metamorphosis.

It is important that you keep facts like these in your mind while making an educated judgment call about her. She could be the exception to the rule, and things could workout of just fine between you guys. However, on the flip side of the coin, she can also display her inability and immaturity to function properly in a dyad once the relationship unfolds to greater depths.

15 is a bit tight.
She still has allot of growing up to do and many phases to go through ones which you have probably already gone through. A 15year old and 21 year old want different things out of life right now. Its not like 25 and 31 year old where all the adolescent shit is out of the way.
For instance, what happens when she gets her liscence and all she wants to do is pick up her friends and hit every "hot spot" just cause its cool.
(I just realized when she gets her liscence you can be her adult driver. )

But, its your call. Ive seen friends gone through this and my advice is be prepared for frequent changes.

IMO, 15 is too young. Itll cause problems. She cant drink/get into clubs, u ok with this? I mean, if she can get ID its one this, but can be a bit of an inconvience at times maybe? i dno...

what about when things get sexual... how comfortable will she be? i mean, she cant be very experienced u know, maybe she doesnt even wanna be physical yet. Nothin wrong with that, but is that a big deal to u?

If you really like her, are you ready to meet and hang out with her friends, who are prolly also 15, and prob not at the same maturity level.

Also, since u met her recently, she may be acting mature knowing 20, but when a situation pops up, somthing of concern maybe, the immmaturity may come out then. THat is, eventually there wil come time where something may happen and she will react like a 15 yr old would, which might piss you off. 15 & 20 is much diff than 20 & 25.

DOnt wanna be negative, just wanna show u things that may happen. But it may very well work out. GOod luck.
