i go for the eagles...even though they lost duce staley and a few defensive players, they got jevon kearse and the number 1 receiver mcnabb always needed...
i agree with that pats-eagles super bowl prediction and i pick the eagles to win it all!

As much as they will hurt from losing Ricky to pot, i dont think we're going to stink it up at all. You must remember, Miami has a defence capable of holding teams to 10 points or less any given sunday. With that being said, as long as Fiedler stays ultra conservative in the passing game and can be somewhat consistant, i think they still could have a shot at a wildcard. Marty Booker was recently acquired, as well as Antonio Freeman. Chris Chambers COULD be the next Randy Moss, and if Randy Mcmichael could step it up and be a little more physical this year, the passing game should be much improved. Knowing there is absolutely NOTHING going on in the backfield this season, i see Miami going to a short passing attack (similar to the Pats last season). And if Fiedler (or Feely) can keep the mistakes to a minimum, look for the Phins to snag a wildcard this season.

I do like the recievers alot now with the addition of Booker,David Boston will be missed. Feely used that short passing attack with the eagles to great success before.I never like saying anybody on the dolphins suck but travis minor sucks, the running game this year .As for the dolphins defence yes they are great but a great defence can only go so far without any help from the offence. It will be an interesting year to see how this team performs without all the lost talent.

i think you make a good point about the fins' defense...and it's true that defense wins games and all that, but you also need to score... i dont see a way in which their offense can be consistent every sunday...conservative passes work well if you have a running attack which you definitely dont...fiedler or feely arent guys you want throwing downfield so much, even though they have chambers who has emerged as a top wr...so, i say that with conservative passes, no good rb and mediocre qbs like fiedler and feely they're not going to be able to make the playoffs...they need a rb urgently...ricky averaged more than 25 carries a game...they're used to a running offense...you dont replace that easily with conservative passes!

First of all, the seahawks are always brutal on the road, so I doubt that will change nor will their chances at the Superbowl.

Now the Superbowl will be won by the Pats again this year. These are a few reasons

1)Team is largely unchanged from last year
2)They did not have a great running game and still won the superbowl but now they got the former bungal aka Corey Dillon and he will give them a new method of attack
3)Brady is a smart man
4)Their defensive backs are smart
5)They have the best coach in the game bar none in Bill B and he adds something to the team. He is always extremely prepared and he knows what to do when the time comes. They are an amazing team and I expect a 13-3 season.

Teams learn. Seattle has learned from their mistakes after losing all those road games. They beat San Diego last week. They will be prepared to face New Orleans and then Tampa Bay to prove that they can win on the road.

New England on the other hand,... I respect them dearly. But, this year, it ain't gonna happen.
