The new 4th gen ipods have more battery life than the thirds, u should have waited a week or 2 for those to go on sale. Doubt u'd get them as cheap tho. Plus the 5th gens look to have wireless functionality of some kind:

isn't there newer ones coming out to rival the ipod? cant rmber if it was sony or creative that were bringing out some bad boy ones!

i think it was the sony ones that looked quite good, but IIRC from the article i read, they dont play mp3's. they only play special sony files, which is a bit ghey
