Human nature... whenever someone reaches the top at ANYTHING others will get jealous and try to tear him/her down.

Yep. Next #1 DJ this year is going to end up getting the piss ripped out of him.

Oh, and Jessica, good for you and not liking Tijs, but there's no need to insult the guy for having personal taste.

they are available though. From ID&T directly i believe. 88euro instead of 58.

last years VIP sucked anyway - u were on the left of the action... and had to crane ur neck to see Tiesto theonly up side is u party with the remaining BHC members and tiestos guests. NOT imo enough to leave the floor in front of tijs with the fireworks! yaay

and thats for one night only! To go to both is obviously costing double.

Altho this isnt really Tijs' doing. ID&T are yet again exploiting him to the extreme - and not telling us it was on two days until 6 days (it was on Mystery Land) before the pre-sale is just cruel for internationals who've got their plane tickets already for the Saturday one.

Well said. I just never understood the point of Tiesto in concert. For all the hype that went into it, and for all the money it costs (if I'm not mistaken, tickets are 55 euro's which comes out to just about $100 U.S. dollars), you'd think it would have something extraordinary and unique going for it. But last year's TiC wasn't much more than just an extended Tiesto set - same tracks we've always heard from him, really, except with a pretty stage surrounded with great big neon lights.

I just fail to see the point. Perhaps someone could be so kind as to elaborate. Sorry for runing your thread.

I wouldn't say that at all. Actually that isn't even opinion, it's just plain wrong.

Firstly there was a massive blend between old & new material in there, along with exclusive remixes/productions made specifically for the event. Secondly there were 3 live vocal performances throughout the night from Andain, Kane & Jan Johnston. Thirdly they put on coregraphed themed dance shows at various intervals throughout the night, each representing a certain part of the world... with live musical performances and spectacular displays. I thought it was excellent how the set material was blended with the ambient/world music in said intervals. How many other Tiesto sets have you seen with said events? No seriously, I'm keen to know.

Obviously if you don't like Tiesto then there's no point in going is there. Same as if you didn't like a particular rock band you wouldn't go and see them either. I personally love his blend of music & set progression and was very impressed by the DVD footage of last year's event, so would happily spend 55 Euros (which fyi works out as $66 USD, not 100... [click] ) on the night, if I could afford to fly over & stay in holland again (already done it once this year!).
