Do you want to know why normal working people care about terrorism? It's because when terrorism continues or effects our society, it also affects the stock market, which affects business and consumer spending, which affects job growth. It all trickles down and if they don't care about terrorism anywhere in our country then they shouldn't be in business. We lost over a million jobs throught the country right after 9/11 and it wasn't a fluke. You can blame all you want on Bush but he didn't ask for 9/11 and many of the problems today including the recession, job losses, situation in Afghanistan and Iraq, where all effected or started in one way by that event.

I am fully aware of what terrorism does, my point is that if this is an ongoing conflict with no end in sight as Bush has claimed in the past then is that all that is going to be our blind obsession while other issues are not even being discussed in significant fashion. I get this strange feeling that 4 more years from now we will still be talking about 9/11 and defeating terrorists, etc, etc. I frankly am sick and tired of talking about terrorists, implement the necessary programs to deal with the issue and tell me how the heck you plan to create jobs that pay as well or better than those lost aka no service industry minimum wage that can't pay rent, curb fiscal spending as a "Conservative" for the future of this nation and handle the issue of spiraling health care costs. None of these have been answered by the incumbent.

The debates are coming and Bush cannot run from that, tough questions will be raised about his policies in Iraq. I know this much however Bush is all big business, little to no concern for the environmental issues, believes in a my way or the highway attitude, save that Texas bravado for Texas please.
