sounds like you just layered the two tracks on top of each other in acid pro or some kind of sequencer...

i think it would work better just mixing the two in a dj mix---these two songs do not work as one song...kinda ruining the spektrum track and the donna summer track...

less is more...its just kind of too much going on at once with this, at least i think...if you want to do a mashup don't simply have the two tracks layered on top of each other, really you could have simply done that live...

take parts and peices from both tracks and fuse them with perhaps some new sounds as well...

having both parts of the track go together like you did with full eq on both is just too much

Very funky track man! I think this has monster potential, I love that beat and your general production is very good.

Get it sent out to a few DJ's, including Pete Tong (cos he has a major radio show)

...Keep on LootBeging

they are and that is fact, there is no point arguing. you wouldn't be the only one to notice if they out of phrase believe me

dj hydra - i did say before it is just an a + b boot, and from now on i will most likely do much more than this (which *would be* bordering on remixing really).

but hey, i still like it, and thats what matters at the end of the day

for those that did like it, cheers for the encouragement and you may want to check out a house boot i made a while back. this is also simple but again i think it works a treat

Cosmos vs Prassay - Take Me Krvsin (dub)

Cosmos vs Prassay - Take PQM Krvsin

p.s. i know it's is one track on top of the other, that was the idea

edited to make sense

mashups are hardly remixes...make some of your OWN sounds and fuse them, and twist the producers sounds into your own original groove...come on, i know you have/know the software!, go further

i am agreeing with you here! what i have made is 100% mashup, but the more of your own sounds you add the more like a remix the track will become. This track was intended to be a straight up bootleg, nothing more, but i am gonna to move more towards what you are suggesting in the future.

however... i do think that there is a place for a+b bootlegs if the tracks work well together
