(i understand this is a digital mixer correct?) thanks in advance

Its an awesome mixer, I'm actually surprised that it isn't mentioned more on these forums, I really do believe it is one of the best mixers out there, next to the Ecler Nuo5 and say the A&H Xones, but there a different style of mixer (less effects more sound quality)
even though its kinda complicating at first with all the setting s everywhere, it doesn't take long to get to know how it all works and its really very easy, it becomes your best friend, you sound quality is more than I could ask for, its crystal clear and thats on speakers that I've blown the tweeters in and need replacing, as for the effects, even though the Eclers are better, they are still outstanding and I believe they have some world first effects in it, like the Transform effect and the Key effect (correct me if I'm wrong people), also on the first Echo effect if you turn the wet/dry knob to max it creates a loop that can go from either 1/4 of a beat to 8 beats long, and while it loops this, you can just take your record off and mix in something else, I believe you "could" mix with one turntable with this feature, as for the whole digital thing, it is a fully digital mixer, but I have not noticed any digital sound coming out of it, I'm not an expert scratcher, but when I scratch abit, it still sounds like any other mixer, this mixer really is a dream, after the broadcast I did the other night, I really am in love with it, ask J:\Digital on here aswell what he thinks, hes been on mine abit, and I think he likes it, I'll get him to come in here and make a post later, but if you want more, heres a thread I made awhile back that I'm gonna update soon.

Also, Tegu asked me about this mixer lastnight, maybe he could post my responce in here for all to see.

Oh yea, I know I sound like an advertisement for Denon but I'm not, I just love this dam mixer, and unfortunately I ain't affiliated (sp?)with them.

Well, here I am...

I am being forced to reply to this thread.. DannyO is holding a gun to my head...

So here goes..
Yea. This mixer is pretty damn amazing. Some of the shit that it can do, I have not seen on any other mixers. The effects are PRIME, and if they do release more with the updates this mixer with sort of become 'Future Proof'. The sound quality is 10000000x better than the POS Behringer DJX700 DannyO had before.. And it is a super easy mixer to learn, I have only been on it a few times, but I know my way around it pretty good considering.. The headphone cue, is SWEET... soo smooth, it mixes the tracks in your can JUST like if you were mixing on your speakers... alot of other mixers I find that the cue'd track comes in to soft or too hard etc... The matrix system is a bonus aswell, I never used it yet, but just playing around with it opened up some ideas that you can do/use while mixing... Overall I think this mixer is better than the DJM600... better sound quality, better effects, just as solidly built (so far), and its cheaper...

Its everything a DJ needs... even scratch DJ's, when the update comes out to improve the already great faders/xfader...

umm don't know what else to say really...

**hangs head in shame**

I don't care, I still have the matrix, and the matrix controls the world.

The problem with the faders is in the software, you can use them fine for mixing, but if you want to do anything fast with them like for scratching or a simple volume drop, you can't slam it back in on beat, it will be slightly delayed, as for the x-fader, I find it plenty fast enough, but then again I ain't a turntablist, it doesn't seem to cut in fast enough when set on sharp, you can still move the fader in slighty before the sound will kick in, but these have been fixed now and I'm waiting for the update that is this month, and is said to be within the next few days, I think it will be after the Plasa show.
