LOL! I never tested that Denon so I wouldn't know
All I know is that Ecler is VERY tight and it definetly WILL be my next mixer, as soon as I've bought some new turntables .

Some super OEM tables. I think I'm gonna go with the American Audio ones, I like the black color.

I didn't find any hot places on the Nuo.

Good to hear about the Nuo5, as for the decks, I gotta get around to trying those OEMs out, they seem to be top notch decks, cheap, and you can get them anywhere thanks to so many companys using the motor.

You should. They're really awesome. They have an arm which is really technics-quality. I've never seen an arm that good, this is true craftsman.

You mean the Super OEM machines? These are the ones I've found in the product catalogs:

- American Audio HTD 4.5
- Akiyama DJ-4000 Acura
- Synq XTRM-1
- Citronic PD-45

These turntables are IDENTICAL, they only differ in color and brand.

Does anyone know what the Nuo5 costs? After reading some stuff on it, I might consider replacing my Xone:62 with it.

One of our local record shops is selling it for something around 1400... give or take 50 bux... but they seem to be a bit higher than our Music Equipment stores, which don't have any in stock yet... but your are prolly looking around that price range..

Umm, so where can I buy one? I realize they're OEM but there isn't any way to get ahold of them directly and cheaply?

I'd start with consulting your dealer. There's bound to be a dealer for American Audio somewhere in Denmark .

Also, try to find a dealer that removes the "speling" from the arm (I don't know the word in English). If the "speling" isn't removed, the arm won't be mounted tight (it will rattle a bit if you move it back and forward). All DJ decks EXCEPT the SL-1200 come with slight "speling" on the arm (Technics is the only brand that can properly adjust the arm so it will come on the streets without "speling").

Also, you can only adjust the arm with proper turntables. E.g. most OEM turntables, the Gemini PDT-6000, and so on.
