just got back from watching it tonite..

i think you gotta take it with a grain of salt. sure the movie won't live up to the videogame, in fact there are some creative liberties thrown around.. plus there are some cheesy and campy scenes, but i think that's expected in a movie like this.

I think if you liked the first one you'll definitely like this one as well. It does't follow the videogame, but there are a lot of assumptions and stuff that you'll catch if you do play the game.


Plus Jill Valentine is fucking gorgeous in the film

it just better not be as big a letdown as AvP

I thought the orignal resident evil film was the biggest load of crap that came out out of hollywood. We are suppose to be frightened by a film, where the main character does flying roundhouse kicks off walls, kicks that would put neo or bruce lee to shame. With such a unrealistic representation of the character from the game it can't help but be nothing more than a one night popcorn flick, that is easily forgettable.

The film should have shown the character to fell vunerable and exposed, in the end she just turned out like a female version of john McClane in a zombie movie. I found myseld rolling my eyes throughout the film. Lets face it, 28 days later did the zombie film better, although some people still are not sure how to classify it(disaster film, zombie film etc).

Im not going to waste my time watching the new installment.

milla and ms. jill valentine were hot though. but doesn't warrant a good movie. the whole thing looked cheesy
