If I'm being serious since the threadstarter seems to be pretty interested, I think the best 'trance' tune ever for the purest, most powerful & intense trance feeling is Cern - The Message (northern mix).

this is like asking me if i love my mom or dad more, theres now way i can single it down to just one.

I've heard the original mix, but never found it to be particularly emotional, but it's still a very good track with some excellent bassy synths (can't really describe them). Good one!

Although very commercial, Darude has done some classics before IMO, so it wouldn't be surprising if anyone seriously nominated him...

I liked the soundscape that comes in between 3:30 and 4:00 minutes. Just that 30 second bit alone is very powerful!
