What beats and beeps posted. Trust me, you will throw that garbage away in the end, thus wasting your money.

well this is your first problem right here! you want to get direct drive turntables instead of belt drives. if you are on a budget, check out stanton's DJ packages. I hate stanton mixers, but it would probably be decent for starting out with if you are really tight on $$$.

oh and one more thing, unless you can find an old busted up DJ who is hooked on smack and is willing to sell you his gear for a hit. you CANNOT start DJing for $300
a CHEAP dj setup will cost you at least $1000 in fact ill give you the breakdown:
2x second hand technics ($400-600)
1x crappy mixer ($150-300)
2x crappy OEM needles ($50)
1x headphones (100-150)
oh and dont forget about records:
$10 a piece for new releases, and you will probably need at least 50-100 records before you have enough quality vinyl for a 1 hour set.
that is about $1200 minimum! but hey look on the bright side you allready have 25% of the cost of your setup.
im not trying to break your spirit on this, but you really should save up some more money. if you really wanna get started start selling shit on ebay. i sold my laptop so that i could buy my first setup.
