I don`t think that awards are a good thing for some reasons:

1. Remember the discussion about the VIP Forum? Same thing would happen here again with people who have awards feeling supreme to others.

2. Swamper took a step in the right direction by hiding the amount of posts someone has, since it leads to the same problems explained in reason 1. , so introducing an award system would be a step back.

3. The nice thing about this forum is that everyone is equal. No post counts or anything (except the TA Status which is ok). Introduce awards and you`ll only bring unhappiness and anger to this forum.

4. It`s all about the music not how big one`s name is in this forum.

5. Noone needs awards to see whether you`re cool or not. They see it by what you post and contribute to this forum.

Biggest number of postings - bad idea... some monsters just post and post without any content, swamper also removed the number from our profiles. But all other categories - nice idea!

did he? cause I just looked and they are in our profiles, in fact that was the whole idea, to let the only in the profile and not post it here.

but I would never agree for the TopPoster on TA...

I agree with you, but number of posting will be our "personal statistics". I myself never paid much attention to it.
