If she tries to screw you, screw her back. Here's the plan:

Tell her you'll give her nothing. She'll go nuts and take you to court with expensive lawyers to get everything you have, which she will get. She'll tell the judge she wants all your money, any future money, and while she's at it, throw in your cock and balls as well. The judge will happily give it to her.

The fun part is when you quit your job and get another job under the table. She nor the government will see one penny of your money, and she will also be broke after spending all that money on court fees.

So she goes from expecting to be living the high life on your hard-earned cash, to having nothing, HA!

(it's a joke, I would only do that if she was a REAL *itch)

There are too many deadbeat dads out there. For every dad who you think gets punished by divorce court, there are 5 that get away paying nothing for their children.

My mum works in family court and it's stunning the stories she comes home with.

What about the dead beat moms? You know, the ones that sit at hoem and do nothing while collecting an outrageous alimony from her husband? Get a fucking job!

There should not only be limits based on your salary but a cap as well. Why should the bitch get let's say $20,000 a month just because you make a million a year? She can get by just fine on 4000 and thats being generous.

Screw this sexist system.

Again, i know of several cases on a personal level. One guy i know almost hung himself over it but instead took off to mexico. He made $100,000 a year and was reduced to living in an $800 apartment driving a 6 year old escort while the bitch sat home and collected his cheques.

These laws are so old, they don't even apply today. It was alot easier for a guy to make enough money to support a family back in the 60's, you're lucky if you can do it today.

That's one of the reasons why many women are working today, the guys just don't make enough.

Funny thing is, where are the feminists demanding equality on this issue LOL

I got the 1200 from a news cast a few weeks ago on CH.

The same place when it comes to "equality" on car insurance i guess

the way i see it, the fact that the word feminist exists but masculist doesn't should tell you something. Also the fact that there is no word for female chauvinism (which exists more and more) should also tell you something.

Maybe one day Canadian men will grow some balls again.

Of that, he could easily save $10,000 and in those 7 years, he coulda had $70,000 saved up for a downpayment on a small franchise or something. But instead he's getting evicted from a shack by the highway NO respect!

Dude,
Its not that i dont agree with you about making something of yourself and living in a decent place but 40k doesnt do much in these days.

You gotta respect that he didnt abandon the needs of his 3 kids.
Hes a mechanic, he could easily work at a shop under the table and not worry about alimony.

You sound like a person whos had a pretty easy life and has allot of ambitions in business. Im just curious, how much real life experience do you have in starting a business, paying bills, meeting deadlines and acheiving success'. You dont laugh at people who get "evicted from a shack by the highway".

It's called pre-nup.

Child support is an expense one should expect to deal with given that a couple is duly responsible for the raising of children. And theoretically should be more than happy to yield a great life for them anyway.

As for the question of alimony, I think this case is really sad. If one is obligated to pay, it should definitely not render one broke or living in a shack, or worse- homeless. In some cases the wife was an integral part in the success of the man's economical prosperity( a family business, or company, yada yada) and severe unfairness on the part of the husband has ensued; in that case I believe the wife should be compensated for her years of effort, work, and commitment. there are times when a business or corporation is registered only in the husband's name.

The other case is when a wife has suffered much abuse, and has been forced to be a housewife. It does happen, not to me but I've known people close to me that have suffered greatly in marriages that lasted way too long.

In this case, I agree that it seems very sad on a surface level. But bare in mind not to generalize as a whole because there are always two sides to every story, and we may dig a little deeper to find that he may be partially responsible for his misfortune, and not letting us know of that.

Or he may be wrongly targetted.
