my car is "hooked up" yo!! i got a steering wheel on it.. and some pedals.. and windows... and one of them engines things.. it makes it move and all... soemtimes i put some of that gas in it and wow.. it makes a difference on the way it goes when it has no gas...
maybe i overdid my car

Don't spend time "hooking up," a corolla. Instead either save the money that you would dump into it, and put it away towards a car that you see as worthwhile. You'll never get the kind of money back out of it when you sell it, so the majority of its a waste, it's virtually impossible to do something that hasn't been done 1k times over, and you won't make that car anywhere even relatively quick without a stupid amount of money. If you want to put in it a respectable stero for your own enjoyment thats cool, but don't go overboard.

I would not go crazy on performance mods. However I do recommend good CD/MP3 player. I've got meself Pioneer DEH-9600 http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/p...891896,00.html, plus some 6"x9" 240W 3-way speakers. I was thinking about an amp, but it's plenty loud right now. And it's kewl not having to worry about silly CD changers. Just smack one in there with 5-6h of music on it and you are set.
