how about a cross-promotion with Josh and Friends + Sweet Chilli, as an experiment? progressive/break trance and prog-house?

yeah i also agree with wade...there just isnt a big enough market here 2 support a dedicated prog trance nite...we already have trouble pulling crowds 2 trance gigs alone! but yeh i think it could work well as a side room tho

Ultimately, wouldn't it be best to have the prog trance in the MAIN room just like at rush?
Sure only the opening set would be prog, but think about it this way - you are getting a lot more coverage by playing in the main room, and that in itself means you might introduce more people to the genre. I also t hink it is t he ultimate way to smoothly build up pace for the night (at a trance night).
I remember the days of Altitude @ Dendy, when Lee Hardy would pump out some very very tasty prog trance and finish with the more melodic stuff. I still think that the days Lee was opener, the best nights were had. The music just progressed so well.

yea nights where the music progresses are the best.
say opening set prog trance, then 2nd set prog trance into uplifting, then pumping uplifting set, then a harder techier set for closing.

yep.. couldn't agree more Dan.
when (if) we ever get the big TT event happening, that is what the structure will be like in the main room... prog, melodic, uplifting, banging.

BAAAAHAHAHA.
I can see this happening in the near future, there goes the SC crowd anyway You don't understand progressive people. We are elite and don't care for the lower forms of music. Any incursion into our territory is sacralidge and trespassers will be forced to listen to Guy Sebastian until they beg for mercy.
Seriously . . . it'll never happen, because it would suck, simple
To the idea of a prog trance night . . its just too small a 'genre' to make a whole night out of. It just would not have enough support, and prog trance and prog house or whatever the fuck you wanna dub them, are too close.
