A dedicated forum to radio shows will actually be very helpful. It just unfair that some bigger DJs can post threads in MD about a radio show but us "amateurs" who are at times just as good as these big boyz are forced to post elsewhere. If everyone , I mean everyone posted in the same forum than there wouldnt be a willingness to post anywhere else. We would feel that viewers from the big shows are also coming to this dedicated forum to see whats on as well.
For example ASOT ,GDJB, and more recently Fritz. If certain indidvuals can post in those forums than it only temps others to post there as well. If they can hype a show in MD why not someone else!? Its wrong to say certain DJ shows have priority over others. Because with this attitude new DJs and new music will never be heard.By discriminating radio shows you than create this "hitler" idealoogy on the board where certain posts are granted freedom and others are banned.
Just make it a fair game for everyone. A radio broadcast forum is the solution. From what I heard Ian say before Swamper is making a really nice one. It will include time zone convetors, web links, etc. So it wont just be an sh!tty place to post about your show.
I hope this is forum is up soon and everyone follows the rules; not just the amateurs! Until this forum is created dont expect MD to be rid completely of radio show ads.

Thank god. This will clear out the clutter.

Stop boinking the thread, damnit.
Yea. Until we get that dedicated forum, the boinking isn't appreciated. (I say that realizing that my post will boink this thread, but I think it's important that TAs show some support for a forum dedicated to the radio broadcast promoters)
Yeah, Neo told me the other night on msn that it was hopefully nearer to being ready, so I'm awaiting it and hoping it can be a success. The only problem I forsee will be people not wanting to use it, but I think that if the mods do a good job of moving things and people who spam are warned, that it'll be a great place to find out what's on and give music discussion back to actually talking about the music
