for the love of god dont use the stage. I actually like the set up you got on the balcony, free's up alot of dance room. My fav. set up is still the elevated dj booth but i know it is used only for events that will be packed. Which set up are you going to use?

definitly the stage set up. DJ's do not like playing in that balcony, they can't get a good feel of the room from up there.

Is it because of the light arrangements? I would think the balcony view would give them a better angle to see the entire dance floor.

I personally loved the setup @ Hybrid in August.

As a club-goer, i'd much rather have the DJ up front. I thought G&D up in the balcony was lame because i either had to turn my head all the way up to see them and face what i consider to be backwards in eleven50, or i had to watch them through scratched plastic.
Basically, there was little to no crowd interaction when DJ's are in the balcony. I LOVED it when Armin van Buuren and James Zabiela were literally, right at the crowd. If Ferry is in that position, he'll own us.
Take this for what its worth Liquified!
I'll be there tonight too, I won't miss Ferry for the world!

no its because the dj can't interact with the crowd. Ferry loves to get into it with his audience and in the balcony thats not really an option....
