Hey guys. Seemed like the meet was a big success. Sorry I couldn't make it this time, but I made the mistake of blazing it with my room mate the night before and overslept. Me and my coz didn't make it to the LP until 2 p.m. We took the Walnut Creek BART station over. But yeah the Love Parade was certainly a most incredible experience. Seeing so many people in a plethora of different costumes dancing on the streets was wonderful. And it just seemed like the day kept on getting better. Also met DaveT briefly as I was jamming to the Skills float at Pier 48. Anyway this was a great weekend for me and my coz, if not the best weekend I have had in my life. I can't wait for next year. I'm definitely going again, and hopefully there'll be another TA meet up as well. I'll post my pics up once I get the film developed.

BTW - which was the float that was spinning Trance at the main party?? Some of the tracks they played were PVD - Nothing but You, the new Above & Beyond track, and finally they finished with some really "anthemic" Trance tune, though I can't quite remember it's name..
Anyways - that truck was awesome ! Me and my buddies were partying next to it pretty much the whole evening.
During the parade though, Thump truck was the best !! That indian dude really knows his Psy Trance - he played some incredible, incredible shit.. Any idea who that was ?

The 50-year oldish man with the dreadlocks was also an awesome psy dj.
Might wanna look on the LP site and see who was on that float, or somehting like that.

And did you see the dude with the shopping cart, one powered speaker, tiny generator, and the drumb stick pad. LMAO!!!
(Oh he got kicked out by the way, I guess he didn't have permission for his ghetto "float") I have a pic of the dude in my photo album.
Seriously, I wonder how much money was spent. Obviously some groups didn't spend much, but Thump probably had the most professional looking float, much like the ones I've seen in pics from LP Berlin.
Saw that fool, he was bustin out the Gabber with that one powererd speaker.

I had soooo much fun at this parade!!! At the begining it was soooo good and continued. The meetup at the begining was asome, alot of us got split up during the craziness. San Francisco is a great place for a edm scene. Things here and there needs to be tweaked but still, asome people, asome vibe. Sorry it took me soo long for the review, but stuff i needs to do. Oh my! San Francisco is freakin asome. Berkeley is cool, crappy cd stores(not record stores). Someone once told me there was a frequency 8 in SF. Is that true?? Frequency 8 in Seattle was badass(not in business anymore). Yo, im here for a week so if you northern cal peeps want some of my flava, pm me,maybe we can chill. LP in SF, one for the memory books.
