After a film or a tv production has been filmed (as in : the images have been shot, on location sound has been recorded with it), there is still a lot of work to do until the finished product can be released. This work is basically the postproduction.
In sound this usually means editing the sounds, adding sounds, soundtrack etc... And mixing it all.
That's what I was referring to when speaking of Nuendo. There's basically very little difference between Cubase SX and Nuendo (which is confusing for a lot of people). Nuendo just has some more features geared towards postproduction (mostly support for standards that are used a lot in that world).
