My questions then are these...

1) Why can't Microsoft make a product that actually shows evidence of its difference in resources compared to apple?
2) Why can't apple be designed with the assumption that every user has a 2 button mouse with a scroll wheel. If I was Apple i'd make their next OS only work if you have a 2 button mouse installed. Staying with a one button design implies the people using their product are some sort of retards whose brains can't handle that level of complexity is embarrasing.

thats exactly it! having a 2 mouse scroll mouse is much more efficient than the one button mouse. i've used apples and have been so frustrated at how long it takes to do things i'm used to doing using a 2 mouse button. other than this, i dont mind apple.

1 mouse button versus an OS famous for bugs and blue screen's of death issues etc.....

Is it just me or you guys are crazy to spend your time whining about a one button mouse when Winblows is far from being stable

Don't forget that most computer users are n00bs (90%), I think it make sense for Apple to use a default one button mouse.

I have never used a mac in my life... I have seen them a couple of times.. but not much.

All I can say is: A ONE BUTTON MOUSE?? How the hell does one play quake or doom or warcraft etc etc with a one button mouse??

P.S: I don't give a shit about monopoly... I don't care if you have ten hotels ,a little green house and weird colour money. I just want something that works (Not that windows actually does work 100% of the time)

I'd like to note that I haven't had a BSoD since I was running Windows 98 a year or two ago. (Yeah, sue me.)

Macs aren't bad, they don't have a high enough quantity of games for them, though. The one-button mouse is really stupid, though.

I have yet to try Linux, but I want to.

that's an extremely odd argument basing the quality of an OS on the design of the mouse. it's just silly. the reason why Macs ship with a one button mouse is because the OS can be operated flawlessly with it. no hassles, no problems.

referring to what JM said, he spoke of not being used to using a one button mouse which in turn lead to spouts of frustration. i'm going to go out on a limb here and assume you have also been conditioned to use a two button mouse because you've used a PC all your life. a little biased perhaps?

however, i am going to reiterate: if you're arguing the reason behind the quality of an OS is based on a peripheral...your argument really has no basis.

I'm using a mac and a 5 button mouse with a scroll wheel. In fact, Microsoft designed this mouse and I bought it. Your argument has little to do with which Operating System is better. My opinion, after using both for nearly 7 years, is that the mac is better. You really need to do a lot of research before trying to argue this one...
