I must say that I do notice that most of the topics stick to rather factual information. It might be event that has happened in your life, a news item, some advice with a personal issue, a person, a comparison between 2 physical items.
I would have thought that being a music related site there would be a fair amount more creativity shown by the topic creators, and I usualy view musical artists as being similar to artists in other genres that use mediums such as paint or sculpture.
I guess it is much easier to post something you can touch and feel and easily explain rather than something that requires one to look outside the square of your usual existance. You will find that most successful people are innovators in some sense and this requires a fair amount of creativity, and sometimes this can go over other members heads completely.
I ponder on whether being creative is something that is born into someone, or something that can be learned. I am an artist by the way, in all forms of expression.
