the simple idea of a 3-way switch on each channel for the x-fader assign, and a simple button to send a channel or two through the fx module would be really nice. pioneers fiddly dials are a real pain, especially in the dark.
looks like someone put a bit of thought into laying out that mixer

how do the fx compare to the djm600?
I havnt used the fx alot on the djm600 from what i can tell they are a lot clearer and crisper, also more and better effects (red the reviews online for all the info), they are controlled by a fader instead of a knob which is way better, u can kinda like scratch in the effects if that makes sense??
Also if u dont like the effects, u can change them with the included software and usb
cost? RRP $2999AU, places have them for $2699 around that mark, i got mine for $1700 all up from canada. I dont know why they are so expensive here, cause the thing allows you to plug in any voltage from around the world and it will auto detect! So all the aussie distrubutors have to do is change the bloomin plug!
sound? Fucking awesome! up there with the XONE
build? build looks pretty solid from the photos.
Build is very solid, and after upgrading from a behringer its amazing LOL. Ecler are renound for quality, and this is just that. Pioneer mixers seem to be going down hill, i was going to get one but after reading many reviews them seem to not last.
stone cold when used? doesnt heat up like the djm600? [or maybe mine's defective ]
I have used it almost all day and barely any heat at all, a lot cooler than the behringer.
