ginseng does it for me.

I usually take 3-4 before hand, but I don't bring it in to the club to avoid hassle.

If it's like WEMF or something, and it won't be a hassle, I'll take 1 or 2 every 4 hours.

On the contrary, the only people I consider to be cracked out are the people on crack (well maybe the people on coke too). You might be surprised at just how many non-cracked-out people aren't exactly sober.

Me personally, I don't drink too many energy drinks because they wreak havoc on my stomach. Maybe 2 red bulls, max. I don't get why you'd want to do it with 2 shots of vodka if you're looking for energy, alcohol is a depressant not a stimulant.

Although I guess in RJ's case, 6 red bulls is more than enough to counteract the alcohol's downer effects - I'm just surprised you can ingest that much red bull without puking/seizing/having a heart attack.

yeah i dunno, i was just reading on it and people were taking it with 2 shots, thats why i was asking in here to see lol, but i guess thats a no no lol. i just dont want to get tired by like 5am and miss any sets, i want to stay awake as best i can, and be able to still dance. obviously the music pumps me up, and i have energy, but you can only go on so long sometimes

red bull and vodka keep going on it all night i just buy like 2-3 drinks after last call to keep going is fun!

Seriously, I've set a personal limit of TWO redbulls per night... it obviously depends on your body/mental state... but I find that more than that and I start to feel a little cracked out and my stomach says "NO".

Mixing it with Vodka does have a pretty intense effect, but again, be careful, there's nothing worse than barfing your guts out at a club... not fun.

Other than that, try some good old fashioned REST before you go out... just flake out and relax for a few hours, maybe sleep if you can, there really is no substitute for resting your body before a long night.

Good luck! And kudos for looking for a drug-free alternative. I don't think there's anything wrong with imbibing whatever chemicals you want, but it's good to know that you can have fun without them if you want to.

I read somewhere that when Tiesto used to pull a lot of crazy 6-hour sets, he used to drink a whole 40 oz of Vodka and an entire case of Red Bull in ONE NIGHT!

Man... that guy must have to piss like a racehorse... he prolly cues up a really really long track, rushes to the bathroom, and runs back just in time to mix in the next track.
