I had that particular spyware 3 days ago, took me about 2 hours to get rid of it.
The spyware is called LOP. It's pretty damn annoying. It changes your URL over and over and everything, and keeps tacking on these ad shortcuts on your Desktop, etc.
Get Lavasoft Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D, and Adware Spy. Update them all then run them all at the same time (takes a while). Kill anything that is found (you need a serial number for Adware Spy for it to actually kill what it finds). After, get a utility called HijackThis (PM me if you can't find it) to find the files that loadup on Windows startup. Delete them from the queue.
Get Webroot SpySweeper, run and prime that up for URL change prevention, and bootup apps protection, etc. Run HijackThis again.
Try deleting the two main LOP folders (forget what theyre called, but they're in Program Files, and you will have seen them in names and such that you should have cancelled when running HijackThis). It might not work, but try anyway. It probably won't.
Reboot (making sure you've cancelled the culprits from booting up with Windows load, and also make sure you're protecting the changes using Webroot SpySweeper, and Spybot S&D at the same time if you want).
Immediately after reboot, go and delete those 2 folders. It should work. pwn3d!
Now run all three spyware searching apps again and you're home free.
