Emotional for sure....

It definitely sneaks up on you, which could be worse, you may not see the effects of emotional pain till much much later, when its too late...then distractions get in the way, but are they really just distractions? or a very very slow method of self destruction???

Ive never had any kind of very bad physical pain happen, but the body is made to physically heal itself. If it doesnt, than such is life and you learn to deal with it. Emotional scars for me, last longer and hurt more. Stabbing me in the back mentally is worse than physically doing it. Just like cutting a hole in soul or my spirit, or breaking my heart is worse than any kind of physical damage anybody can do.

I sprained my right knee in a real bad way 4 weeks ago when I was playing ball. I could barely walk for a week, now I have to get it drained. Don't know where I was going with that... Anywho as stated previously you can overcome emotional pain, knee sprains are a bitch.

so true but the opposite is also true, physical pain can lead to alot of emotional which makes it twice as bad in a way coz it affects you in more ways than one....i hope that makes sense..lol

I understand. It can go both ways. They are completely intertwined. Physical pain can cause emotional pain and emotional pain can cause phsical pain. And like i said earlier, its not always noticable at first. The second one may take a while to show.

For sure!!
But if I had to pick only one I would say physical pain. Imagine having cancer for a couple of years and then dying from it. With emotional pain you can usually get some sort of therapy for it.
