Please let us know what you think of the X1500. Im curious to know how the sound quality is on this denon mixer given that it has the built in effects unit.

BTW I tested the pioneer DJMs awhile ago because I wnated something that had everything in it ( mixer + effect). I was dissppointed to hear that the mids-hi sounded muffled. Not good imo for trance but OK for house and maybe techno.

Will do. The only thing I'm worried about is the heat issue. Apparently this thing gets pretty toasty when it's working. Denon says this is normal but it's still a bit of a worry and since I'm putting it in a coffin I'm going to have to mod the foam to get some better airflow around the mixer. We shall see how it goes.

Give it a try anyways. I do know DJ Mart ships internationally so I know the shipping won't be a problem.

Absolutely correct. We do ship worldwide with a few exceptions, via UPS Worldwide, FedEx International, Bax Global or for smaller and less expensive items(due to insurance restrictions) we will occasionally use USPS Global Express. Just email me directly at:

Cheers...

thats a shame because you never replyed to me when i was looking for some gear.

if i was presented with a choice of any mixer, with no limit on money for my home setup, i would definitely go for the ecler nuo5.

check out www.decks.co.uk (sapphires) if you want to get it from this country, they are usually the cheapest. i usually get the sapphires price, then ring up jb's music and get them to beat it tho

the effects are fantastic, the faders are beautiful, the usability of the entire thing in general really. sound quality is wicked too (24 bit digital)!

not to mention it has 4 phono inputs, which saves a lot of faff with preamps if you want to use 4 decks.

when compared to the others in the same bracket (apart from the denon x1500, i haven't used that but i've heard its bloody good apart from the lack of an update for the faders) its beats them down with a fuck-off great hammer. it has the best features of them all... the high sound quality and effect fader of the allen & heath, the versatility and fun of the djm600/3000, the usb connection and digital outputness of the denon. what more could you want?

you can even customise your effects parameters via the usb link + software you get with it.

damn... I post this a lot...

Try this. Built like an S-Class Mercedes, beautiful control of your FX via the flex-FX loop. Only (potential) drawback? 3 channels. Look at this seriously. And if you're serious about your sound quality, check out Pioneer's upgrade to the EFX500 - the EFX1000.

Cheers.

to be honest with you... you can do alot with the filters you get on Allen&Heath mixers. the Xone92 even has an LFO, which you can assign to a filter and create a flanging effect. But hey.. u don't want an Allen&Heath.... no problem... more for me

as does the xone32.. and its cheaper

and sorry to be picky, but it doesn't create a flanging effect, a flanger is something entirely different

yeah the filters are fantastic on the allen & heaths, but there is also filters on the ecler nuo5 (both high pass + low pass) as well as an LFO, plus a shitload of other effects..
