It was pretty pathetic when Edwards said it. I'm paraphrasing, but it was very close to, "If John Kerry were president, Christopher Reeve would've gotten up and walked out of his chair."

Just terrible, tasteless, and completely bogus. He was using his best trial lawyer tactics.

Edwards: 'When John Kerry is president, people like Christopher Reeve are going to walk. Get up out of that wheelchair and walk again'...

The republican puppet speedracer should learn to stay on the subject of the forum...much like his Idol he pivots the subject to suit his interests. I wanted to hear about the uneducated; being swayed for a group that lobbies for a party, that does NOT hold them in there best interest. I'm tired of the red-neck republican.

well, elitist, ignorant crap like this
quote:
of course, you gotta get the moron vote somehow. do you think that bush will be able to secure an election on his financial and foreign policies alone? find a group of easily distracted rednecks (ie. the NRA and the christian coalition) rub their backs on a couple of meaningless policies and voila! you get the southern states and the midwest.

is baseless drivel
this thread is not meant for debate if you think about it.

LOL? First off kid; Im not even a redneck...dont know why you would assume that. If you meant BUSH, then be clear next time.

2nd: This thread is useless due to the fact that anyone into politics knows NRA+GOP have always been together..no one is denying that.

3rd: Something we can argue about is the fact that Kerry is a classic opportunist
@the debateassault weapons ban discussion)
they were talking about the assault weapons ban, and Kerry said the ban should have been renewed, because just last year (while the ban was in effect) he was hunting with some police chief on his belly who had performed a drug raid, and found an AK47 laying on the guys bed, and said now those guns are legal.......I just said WTF you proved your point wrong, if the law was in effect and the bad guy already had the gun it must not be a very freaking good law.....

4th: As far as the Elmer Fudd aka John Kerry
I know hunters, and Mr. Kerry, you sir are no hunter

i said the exact same thing during the debate. a friend of mine watching it with me didn't even realize what Kerry had just said. i had to explain it to her. she's pro-Kerry, go figure

actually, she's anti-Bush.

damn, got me all worked up over nothing, granted edwards comments are purely speculative, don't run around making up stuff just to create a point.

So? I think we should allow Edwards to exploit one corpse(albeit a famous one). I mean Bush exploits the dead all the time, or are you suffering from a pre-9/11 mind set?
