for a minute i thought i would be an id&t event....

all these wannabe sensation parties all over the place... and id&t is so money hungry, wouldn't surprise me if they started suing for using their concept without their permission lol

hmmmm is this by the same people that do sensation in amsterdam or is someone just bitting the name??? never heard of any of the DJ's above... maybe atleast one well known headliner for each night would have been better. the closest thing to Sensation white i have ever seen in N.America is the white party they had in montreal... i believe PVD/armin were headliners for the trance part.. they also had some well know techno Dj's too.

This is funny, I could of sworn this was posted by DJ Eco himself. I believe I sorta flamed him for knocking ID&T off and then promotional copy by a Trance Addict In Training. Basically if you want to run theme party that was coined elsewhere, you'd need some proper financial/legal backing to make it anywhere as close. IMHO, this is a rave name associated to a euro-party. If you want to promote your party and yourself as a DJ, by all means please do. But be alittle creative in deciding the name of the party, your venue, and your audience. Make a strong effort to be visible in our local region. These are all the necessary factors local talent needs to do at the bare minimum to obtain recognition for their music.

Cheap covers, small/large clubs, great interaction with locals to gain support. This is where it is built. Please don't post/promote your party by working off another one's fame. I think that just isn't right. Unless this is a complete innocent act, I'd suggest you change the name of the party and personalize it. And by me saying this, I'm not flaming or calling you out, I'm just giving you the inside scoop on what I think is right...remember this is my opinion, to be heard or not, just take it as some advice, you don't have to listen to me.

I'm just anti-knock off parties unless a true GC party, Manumission party is being thrown by legitimat organizations.

Kid Nyce, i posted about it earlier this week, and i agreed with what u said about "biting off" the one in Europe, thats y i took it down. but w.e., the musics gunna be tight, like i said, im almost probably getting Vic Dinaire to spin (dont wanna count my chickens b4 they hatch), but we talkd about it, he said hes interested, and were finalizing all the money issues when he gets back from spinning this weekend (in DC rite?). were trying to get this going at Bowery Ballroom, nothing 100% official yet, but im meeting with the ppl next weekend. so, yea Kid Nyce, ur right, it woulda been better had we been original

....as for the mention of "real house" by Silver Nrgy in the main post, he wasnt knocking ne of u guys... he copied and pasted all the info that i posted in another forum that doesnt exactly have the most.... "knowledgable" clubbers, when it comes to music (they think eurodance and hard house are house, when in reality, well be having some funky house and disco house spun by the likes of DJ Tommy D, a rave circuit DJ that spins at most raves in the area, so that should be fun). so, once again, i agree with ur stance against "knock off" parties, and ive been working my ass off with ID-T to get some sponsorship or at least some recognition and i hope we have a good turnout. if worst comes to worst with ID-T, we just change the name to something related to white/black or so, even Heaven/Hell parties would be a possible choice for a name. look out for Jon O'Bir and Robert Nickson too, were gunna book them

actually i wouldn't want to be president..damn USA is all fucked up IMHO...damn economy, the war, geez pretty scary if you ask me....

here's a nuclear arm's race question to think about...
USA reports no nuclear findings in Iraq. What if the media is told to portray that to the public because there are missing viles and containers of Chemical Warfare Agents or Plutonium casings? What if the USA doesn't even know where they are or who is holding them. It's better to be ignorant and not know then to show the World how incompetent we are!
