the one i did was a result of taking a lens flare on a blank canvas, converting it rectangular, editing a bit, converting back to polar, and coloring, then putting it on color dodge

lasso tool, 40% opacity, gaussian blur (those two were the most important I noticed), relief, hue from skincolor to eyeball.. hmm that's about it I think.

Heres another one, the shape is abit better, and it seems to work better if the image is brighter, the only prob is that the eye does not look sad, it does not have that certain shineyness that would make a tear work.

I will work on the shineyness of they eye abit and see how it comes out, still wondering how i'm gonna do it though.
