thanks for the comments everyone...

to address the insane BPM.. I'm not really sure why I made this 150bpm... Just for the fuck of it guess since this wasn't a serious production in the least bit (hense the silly title I gave it)

just to clear up any confusion.. the fast "psy-trance" like melody that plays from 1:05-2:00 is original whereas the main melody was done by Flutlicht many years ago...

Also, if any of you want me to review one of your tracks, just post the URL in here and I'll be sure to.

More comments and questions are always welcome!

Hey.. nice track

150BPM is good enough ...not too fast... haha

I like to play trance with 150 to 155 or more BPM

It's a nice re-work of the track, but quite frankly this track is too fast to enjoy. I think to justify this speed you've got to put in some darker, harder hitting basslines, maybe some moodier FX; I dunno, perhaps turning it into a hard trance mix. Either that or slow it way down man.

The production quality is nice though!

plus
cool FX
synth is ok

minus
this is too damn fast man..
I hate hard trance
break is too much playing with filters or whatever
clap is too weak
I dont like Flutlicht
main lead is too weak
introduce some strings?

conclusion
first I dont listen too stuff over 140 BPM.. the production is basic.. but not bad.. I missed some strings or pads in the melody... the lead sounds like one layer.. the percussions are basic and a little too thin.. u could easily run this around 142-144 BPM.. 150 doesnt seem right at all

5/10

Cool song!
good old memories come back!
i like most of the sounds, but the clap, and the "swuuuuussssshhhhhh" sound with some kind of phaser, gets a littlebit annoing after a while
and.. 150bpm is damn to fast for a track like this
slow it down, and it will sound more proffesional

but nicely done!
keep up the good work!

Nice work Alanzo! It IS very fast, but the production is super-crisp and the sounds are great, nicely done m8! Sounds like you had a lot of fun reworking this track.

very cool start lovely percs, that effect introduces the percs realy well. and that kick is awsome as fuck! its very fast but it suits it! bass is quality. this is proper headbanging! lead that comes in at 1:05 was a tiny bit disapointing, but only coz it started so suddenly, maybe introduce it by filtering it up abit, and make it hiss a bit more whne the filter is open completely. i love how the whole track filters down to the break. thats really cool. ok the break, that pad is nice but maybe a bit too much release, it sounds a bit mushed together. but thats just nitpicking its really not bad at all!the synth that comes up out of the break is nice, maybe a little static, but then at 2:49 ish when it bangs in it sounds awsome so ignone that!! cool highpass filter up. and nowthe kick off, very cool again, maybe could have had more of a bang when it all kicked off, but again, thats nitpicking. over all this is wicked im really enjoying it, nothing bad at all really!

Mike
