I tell you what. I definitely love the lighting job you did. Those three beams of light coming out from the symbol with the cool blue textures in them are awesome. You gotta let me know how you did that.

However, I am sort of with the other people about the blur getting in the way of the readability of the logo. However, I'm not totally pleased with the versions without the blur. What I was wondering, if couldn't you keep at least a little blur, or better yet, a shadow either in front or behind the logo to keep the logo from looking flat? To me, that was the only positive thing, the blur did, kept the logo from looking completely flat. Gave it some depth. Maybe you could still give it some depth with a little bit of blur or shadow to it.

Just my 2 cents. It's very good so far. Just a little bit away from being perfect.

But: try a darker black on the font, and more contrast on the rest !
