I just use the default 12 posts per page because I'm on a dial-up connection and there's less chance of stuff timing out this way.

my only pet peeve is when n00bs come on and dont know how to type or use punctuation. they're whole post is one looooong sentence. you have to read it 3 times to get what they're saying.. then again its even worse when you asked them to try and use punctuation because its hard to understand, and they get pissy.

i have my post per page set to 40. but i think it is kind of hard to reference a specific post number when they are not labeled and to know what page you are on you just have to look at the bottom of the page.

There isn't a good way to reference the location of a post the way things are set up right now. The best thing to do IMO is to just quote it yourself so the person doesn't have to go looking for it.
