Hiya Pete!

Bass needs some work, first off. Also id change one of the closed hats, as it sounds like its clipping in my headphones, but its not, its just the sound you used. The sound you used in the breakdown is awesome, very rob nickson. Breakdown is very nice, it sounds very profesh. The kick roll is ugly, it just sounded compeletely wrong, im not sure what it is ?? Overall is a sweet production, just needs a little bit of work.

well done mate

i agree, kick/drum roll at the end of the breakdown is horrible.

sounds great overall, but it's a bit repeatative. try every phrase or two changing the key sequence/melody a bit, just for a bar, instead of just the percussion and bass change. like a couple extra notes, one time going up, one time going down, and feel free to be creative and playful with it when you do it, rather than something in time with the rest of the key sequence (ie maybe one or two fast, or drop one in between).

clap and bassline are vying a bit for power, they should compliment each other more. try resetting their timing a bit, by moving one layer just a fraction one way, or maybe its just the echo on the clap. im not sure. maybe nothing at all is wrong, i have pretty crappy speakers =)

sounds pretty good, the melody has a lot of potential. however a lot of the production sounds a bit thin, especially the kick + bass, need to give a lot of the elements a lot more padding out

hey pete!

i agree with luke. add more low, i think it's a common problem you have, your last track had the same problem other then this i really like it! good melodies. just make the kick and bass stand out more.

cool sounds and how you put them together, Can't judge the arrangement well with a snippet. It just sounds like that little melody is just a build up to something bigger, which of course could happen in the breakdown. But it sure sounds nifty, potential

The melody and atmosphere are incredible, great work there as always. Nice harmonies.

Only beef is with the lowend. Kick is kinda low in volume, bassline could be stronger too.

Nice work so far.

Hey Pete, good tune! This has loads of potential, but I think there are a couple of things you need to sort out first... The kick and bass could do with a being a bit more beefy. That kick roll needs to be changed too, it sounds out of time or something.

On the plus side though, I am really liking that melody, and when the bass and melody kick back in at 1:22 it sounds great!

I'm looking forward to hearing the finished article...

dont like the meldody... it is too repetetive.. the percussions sounds falt.. I really like the bass in the breakdown.. the melody is getting better.. (offkey?) .. but not my cup of tea.. and after the breakdown everything just loses it.. you need more punch in the end of the breakdown I think... u are on too something.. but it needs a whole lot of work..

Good track.

- melody is too reptitive, vary it once in a while, maybe like the melody in "Strange World" by Push
- Bass is good, but needs to be more prominent.
- strings are way too far in the bg

yeah, you're right mate, the melody is a bit repetitive maybe, but i like it in this way, maybe i will add some little changes on some notes, but no serious changes. About the bassline thing, yeah i think i fixed it recently, now i take a look at the strings,

thanks for your comment
