not bad, production is very clean + crisp, vocals are used really well, it's just that it sounds quite empty in a lot of places, could really do with another bass in the midrange or something imo

I was trying to keep the trck fairly simple without too much going on. On reflection I should have added some more elements to spice it up a bit

CHeers for all the comments guys

How do you manage to get everything so stereo-sounding? I produce with reason, and I use Unison to get that effect. Anyways, I like the structore in this one. There are no parts long enough to make the track uninterresting, and that's a very positive thing! You constantly adding new effects, breaks and creative twists. If I were you, I would have added more reverb to those vocals. But they work just fine the way you've used them as well.

Solid, emotional production. You're very good at making the tracks emotional..atmospheric...deep...

loved this track first time it came out, still do.

The Wippenberg remix on Incentive is the best mix i've heard of this!

Alright Bren! Like what you've done here, you're especially good at manipulating those vocals. As always it sounds very pro, each element of the song is coming through clean and clear. I know you were trying to make a more chilled yet upbeat remix, but I still think those strings could have been brought into the mix a bit more.

Oh, and I'm still sticking by my opinion that the delay on the piano would have been better on 3 steps instead of 4.

Still a great remix though. Thanks for sharing it!

This is a very nice remix mate! Glad to hear you coming back in shape. Loved the piano in this one.

I did have a few little pointers maybe... The bassline sounds a tad too deep to me in places, there's not too much space filled up in the mid-lows (like 150Hz maybe?); therefore I think the intro, again at places, sounded a tad empty - have to agree with Luke there.

Looking forward to those tracks now

Cheers,
Wim

Very nice-- I love the groovy feel in your remix. Everything seems decent, at least, to me (production-wise). I might want a bit more high frequencies in this though, but maybe it's just me. Indeed, very well done. I prefer the Wippenberg Remix (what a classic track!), but your remix will be getting my listening time as well. =)
