One of the guys in my house at Uni is a Christian Union member takes it all quite seriously.
One morning I was alone in the house and the doorbell rings and these two old women start preaching stuff from the bible to me and since I am a polite guy I don't slam the door on them. Anyways there were only there about two mins or so. Later on in the day I am talking to the two new guys about this and how my Dad when travelling to LA got caught up with a religious nutcase. My Dad told me he was so pissed off by it that for the future he read up a few inconsistencies in the Bible and that it was a load of bollocks. I was telling the guys in the house all this when I realised the Christian dude starting to get a little upset......I had forgotten he was in the Godsquad.....oops
Funny thing is he is marrying another girl in the Christian Union and have only known each other three months! and most of that time they were apart living away from eachother on summer vacation! As on of the guys at the pub said when we were talking about this:
'Well they are both Christian Union so it's a case of I'm horny lets get married'
