If they do want to bring it out, they'll first have to ask permission to the legal owners of that phrase, be it of the Pulp Fiction movie.

For now, I think it's ok - remixing a (signed/licensed) track without permission isn't "legal" either as you would call it...

i haven't heard something like that in a while.. that was a bit the point. as Wim says, a lot of the tracks these days tend to drag along without any real climax. we thought we'd go back to the old uplifting formula with this one... well, actually not quite, since the intro is very very different.. but definitely the direction we took with the main part.

i guess we'll have to test it somehow on a dancefloor, and see if it does well... if it doesn't, then we can forget about getting this thing on vinyl.

as for the kick, it's actually one of yours Scirocco, albeit EQ'ed quite heavily to fit into the mix. to those who thought it was too weak, we're definitely not putting in one of those Dumonde ones, if that's what you mean!

thanx for the input everyone

i see what you mean.. some recent epic trancers try too hard to stay away from the formula and end up not working at all. maybe i was being a bit harsh there with your track

I love big epic melodies like this, awesome work!

hahaha but ditch the pulp fiction vocals, damn that's been overdone! (maybe not as much as supersaw leads, but at least supersaw leads sounded good in the first place; when people started using pulp fiction snippets *especially that one* it like yawn, here we go...)

anyway i ramble OT, this tune's great and i'd love to hear the full version. And I complete agree with Wim, I was thinking that on the dancefloor just the other night, people will you stop *wanking* and just give me some uplifting epic melodies dammit!

Love it

Well, I'm just in love with those days when tunes like 'Aquaplex - Brightness', 'Junk Project - Control' and such were very much in... Couldn't get them out of my mind.

This 'new' trance (or how you would call it) is alright to dance to and have a great night out, but sometimes oh so quickly forgotten by the 'regular' trance listener rather than the critic... At least here in Belgium.

mmm, this is a tough one, dont know if i like it or not.
loose the samuel L sample for a start.
the bassline is great as i lovely epic flow to it with nice flute sounds, but its the climax and build where this falls down for me, it just sounded too predictable, maybe could of took a more imaginative approach, sounds a bit like old ralph fridge stuff who i loved by the way, its just a bit dated now.

another thing is it sounds like there might be a little too much reverb its kinda hiding in the background in the later parts.

but all in all its a good blast from the past for me i'll always love this stuff

p.s. can i PM you guys???
