Dealing with rejection for me is EASY.

I'm the best and if you don't like me, you're not in the same leauge I am, you're too ignorant to know how awesome I am.

Depends on the situation, cant expect every answer to be the same.

Find out what they really are looking for, if they are really interested in buying, then try another item they might like.

Well, on the same token, why should people feel trusting of every person they meet. The world of full of greedy, lying, scamming vultures looking for a quick buck. I mean, people have no choice but to becareful of every single thing in this world because everyone has at one time or another been fucked over for being to trusting or too nice.

We are the victims of our own vices.

Oh and before you say anything, yes, I do from time to time try to put myself into some conversations without being an ass.

Your coping skills are blessed with a fair amount of reality and I think its important that having excellent mentality for dealing rejection doesn't involve lying to one self.

It is very easy to understand why people are so reluctant to let people into their personal space and their lives, and this is entirely warranted, and provides an excellent explanation for why people often get rejected. Its not usually because one is ugly, fat or unattractive that they get rejected when trying to pick up, but this is often the first things we think about it happens to us.

I've had so many horrible horrible experiences where i get to know a girl and i absolutly KNOW that she knows how i feel, and that i know how she feels, but we end up in a sort of stalemate where both of us is afraid to say anything that would advance relationship.

Ick i needed to vent. Anyways ill probably change once i graduate.

Oh...so how this relates to the thread? Ive never been rejected

With sales, you need to distance yourself from your job. It's not you they're rejecting, it's the product. Or the company. Or the price. Something. Well, maybe you were an ass to them and they're rejecting you.

But if it's you that was rejected, just accept it, and move on. You don't need to realize that there will be other opportunities (although it certainly helps some people). You don't need to dramatize it, project it, or deny it. You don't need to reduce its' significance. You just need to be able to accept that it happened, and be able to move on...much like what Orbax was saying about leaving it behind you.

Once it's done, it's done. It's a part of history. Let it go.

It's only as serious a problem as you make it.

Oh and some advice: thinking that you'll change once you graduate is not a good way to think. You're drawing an arbitrary line in time and saying that after that point things will change. Gumption doesn't come overnight, you need to work on it over a period of time.

Its just a terrible feeling.

I hate it.

There have been times where one little mistake, or one wrong statement, or one moment have bottled things up with a girl, and one must move on a learn from the experience.

And yeah Orbax, I think it is.

I regret a lot. It sucks. And I keep wondering if I'm gonna regret more and more as I go on. Oh well

Reminds me of a friend who always had an excuse for trying to get a girlfriend, I dont have a job, how am I gonna take her out? or I dont have a car, what am I gonna do? take the bus to meet her? Im like what does any of that matter unless you plan on picking up a superficial material chick.

Dude, that's a valid excuse for some.
