dude this is silly...most ppl on this board love Tiesto and that's all good cause he's a damn good DJ...this poll does nothing except get people pissed off and we don't need that sort of thing on this board. I know that PLUR is dead to most ppl but at least on this forum most of the ppl are very tolerant, let's not damage that by having a poll that will achieve nothing.

TIESTO = GOD = PVD !!! HAPPY

Dude I'm sure that your intentions are good but ppl who love Tiesto will say that he rulez while ppl who dig PVD will say that he is the man...the bottom line is that both DJ's are good. What's the point of asking such a question when all it will do is lead to bickering ?

Sorry to preach like this but I have seen many boards turn sour because ppl are divided into camps when it comes to DJ's and producers and instead of constructive posts ppl start flaming each other...something which we don't need on this board. I hope that u don't take it personally, I'm just trying to make a point.

BTW. I heard Tiesto and although his track selection was great his mixing did leave a little to be desired (although I heard that water dropping on the TT was the cause of this). I didn't get a chance to hear PVD'z set but from past experiences his track selection is exceptional and he has his own mixing style. Some ppl say that PVD spins too much of his own stuff and that he doesn't get as involved with the crowd as Tiesto and that's true but if you love his music then you overlook those small faults.

Well after being at both parties and considering that is was kind of a drag going to see PVD, i have to say PVD all the way!!!!

But this doesn't mean anything, really... Their both very good, but what matters is what the dj does for you, cause the music hits everyone different....

I didn't even vote on this, and i won't bother too... what this poll should be called is "Who played a better Set at the Guv Complex: PVD or Tiesto. That way the only ppl voting for it would be the ppl that went. I like PVD better as a DJ because he has great mixing skills, but i enjoyed Tiesto's set more this weekend simple because his set was alot more uplifting, Kool Haus was set up great, sound system was great, and everything was cool. I liked PVD's set, but his track selection was more chill than what he normally plays, Guv was set up good, but not good enough (they had the moving ceiling lights off that night, plus it was so packed in there), Guv's sound system was shit that night compared to it's normal Saturday night (speakers WERE cutting in and out), PVD wasn't on a Saturday night, PVD himself didn't look like he wanted to be there, the vibe in Guv that night was just WIERD, and that Fat Sparkling Chick screaming odd noises during every other song was just annoying! Last time it was PVD all the way for me and i saw both last time too!

Depends on how much Trance you like in your mix. They are both very good at what the do. I wouldn't miss an opportunity to see either one of them!
