Add myself and Kandaio to the list as well.
Actually, we're interested in meeting up with fellow TA's at a bar or coffee shop nearby and were hoping to have a little pre-chill meetup or gathering.
I think it would be a lot of fun to meet up with a bunch of TA fans and just chill for a bit, getting ourselves all pumped up for the night at hand.
Post if you think this would be a good idea, where to meet (preferebly within walking distance for those of us who are coming from out of town), what time you think is decent, etc.
If not, see you all at the show.

You're right that they've got different styles, but he played before Armin at Decadence and that worked well, and Rank 1 and armin are sorta similar. |
ughmmmmm....not really...i've been to both, and yes, they both focus on trance...but there styles really are different...if i walked into guvernment and had no clue which one was which, 5 songs later, i could most likely distinguish between djs. I've only heard each dj once, so i don't want to generalize, because djs sets can be differnet on different nights. but rank 1 i found to be a lot more laid back. they played songs with longer break downs and more deep melodies...where armin can sway into a techy/progy sound at certain points, and plays more driving trance...just an observation.
based on what jayx1 said...the setup doesn't bother me, it is an odd combination...but i can dig almost any EDM (except the hardcore rave stuff like jungle and dnb, and breaks just bug me, i'm always waiting for the climax that never comes) so i could easily get into either djs set.
