in in the same boat financially
no job, gonna be goin to washington soon for 2 weeks so its pointless to try and get hired for a seasonal position
my dad gives me 10-20 bucks a week for "lunch money" gotta get vinyl money somewhere, plus, school food sucks and i can just save and eat when i get home
ive been at this for about a year now, no job, no money, i own the cheapest starter pack ive seen($200), 90% of my music is on my computer which crapped out on me due to viruses and spyware(cant even reinstall WinXP) and not to mention i somehow lost about 100 Cds this summer, half on my trip to puerto rico and the other half...just sorta dissapeared i guess
it Sucks! but at least ive gotten to the point where i can get some really well matched mixes most of the time and ive even figured a cheap way to record
try something new, it only gets boring if you do the same thing over and over, think of something that would be cool and see if theres a way to pull it off...
theres a couple tracks on the tiesto in concert dvd that i used to have and really want, so i figured why not record a mix with tiesto? play the dvd through my PS2 and plug it into the mixer... worked fine... fun too in a cheesey way...do alittle tag teaming with tiesto lol
...one thing i learned from my trip to Puerto Rico this summer - youd be suprised at how much money you waste on going to the movies and eating fast food, and spending on other things that the next day all you have to show for it is less $ in your pocket
