well tobias, are you willing to put up with crappy music from somebody that dances around with their tits hanging out while they spin? Would you put up with some charismatic popular chatacter playing breaks remixes of leonard skynrd and scratching with his nose just because a bunch of kids think that its cool?

The music suffers when ppls start coming for the gimmicks, if the popularity dips too much because nobody wants to hear the music, then the music will change to something that attracts a crowd for the right reason.

Im not against gimmicks because I want things to be underground, I'm against gimmicks because it will just make the music worse.

Events outside = awesome

As for the rest of it, i don't really know. I don't like the idea of DJ's becoming "rock stars" ala Tiesto with "Concerts" at stadiums etc

Its quite funny how people automatically seem to assume that I'm recommending gimmicks, cheap tricks and pure taciness by making such a suggestion.

And Zombie0915, no, I wouldn't like to see someone that had a good show but played god awful music. Its not about gimmicks.

I'm sure that world class performers can put something special into their performance other than perfect mixing and good track selection.

The question is how Djs can spice up their performance without it being cheap.
