DJX 700 is the worst mixer ever. I use to own one till this past Monday when I got my DJM 600. The upfaders on the behringer are horrible, no volume change from 0-8, effects wack, EQ wack, everything is wack. You can't imagine the relief and satisfaction I got when I got the DJM 600.

It's like im reborn all over again

The only good use for it is what wee_rooney said, to drop-kick it

I don't know about that. Their marketing info makes it sound like it's all that...

"Your crowd will be astounded by the 47 breathtaking digital effect presets in 24-bit quality: delay, reverb, flanger, filter, panner, ultrabass, exciter, Vinylizer, voice changer and more. Your audience will be astounded, but they’ll never have to know your secret."

Yeah the secret is that your running the new Pioneer EFX 1000.

be warned, if you plan on throwing a mixer out of the window more than once, be careful the second time around, as there are very sharp edges on them...

i still have scars.

From my experiences, some studio products are great while others just suck. I've had pretty good luck w/ their euroracks.

Hey no doubt its crappy but its only 200 USD.. anyways my point is, do research on the product before making a purchase. I mean read up on it like hell.. ask for user opinions etc.. use these forums n stuff..

I bought the DJX fully knowing how crap it was and all its flaws with it as well.. mainly coz I could spend the rest of my dough on records n stuff. Its the cheapest piece of shit around man and I still think its a bargain lol.

To me its just a toy mixer with all the basic functions and a good layout, and though the sound quality isn't all that good, it works good enough for bedroom use.

my 2 cents

cheersSss
=)

so everyone says its crap...
but is it worth the $200?
would it be good for bedroom use only?
I'm just a bedroom DJ and wouldnt mind buying this product but it seems like you all REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY hate it. haha

I have one of these 700's. My current plan is to sell it to someone I don't like.

The faders on this thing are awful, they don't pick up anything until around 7 or 8. All the comments about the F/X being garbage are all true (the volume goes up and down - wild).

In a month or two I hope to be getting rid of my 700 and replacing it with a Vestax PCV 275.

Avoid the Behringer DJX 700 - it will break your heart.
