Totally agree, i live in Dublin and to be honest, this place is the most expensive country i've ever lived in. On top of it all, it rains during spring, summer, fall, and winter.
There are no highways (unless you count the M50 which in my opinion isn't a highway at all), the drinks and food are well overpriced, the clubs close at 3 AM, and you can no longer smoke anywhere.
Unless you think going out to the pub every night, paying out your ass for rent, food, phone bills, etc, then please, try somewhere else because whatever you're looking for, you probably won't find it here.

Personally, i think it depends where you go and what you like. If you like 17 year old girls, chubby (if not just fat), with 3 kids i suggest you go to north side Dublin.
