the first time I played it (at 12AM with no lights on), I was screaming like a girl (hey at least I admit it)

after a while it got old

Half life 2 is "...THE BEST GAME EVER MADE." -PC GAMER
I couldn't agree more. I have Doom 3, Half-Life 2, Unreal Tournament 2004 and Halo 2. Out of all of these top-notch FPS Half-Life 2 is definately the best (it comes with the new COUNTERSTRIKE!!!), although I would say UT2004 comes in a close second. The only reason why Halo got big at all is because not everyone has 4 computers hooked up to a lan to play...

Halo is a fucking fantastic game. Nothing before it had come close in terms of cinematic immersion, imo. Not to mention the multiplayer is simply the best all around, period. Half Life may have more mods, but they're more specialized. Halo's multiplayer is just so flexible.

That said... if I could only take one game to a desert island with me, it would be HL2 and it's mods (my previous choice would have been HL1 and it's mods). But Halo deserves some credit.
