i agree, the kick is a tad strong for a chillout. some little minor things here and there like at 0:20 where elements clash in an unplesant manner. gotta watch that, with a chillout track, clashing elements counter the relaxing effects you want.
i like the guitar, i like what you've done! i like the intro, except the harsh kicks. (haven't heard the original). clap is a bit too sharp, too loud.
needs more sfx and variation if you want to lengthen it.
make it longer! the part at 1:22-24, 1:32-34, with the strings, start that off as an intro, with ocean waves (or something some might call overly cheesey natural elements). i can help you with this maybe if you ask.
